A brief history of Ambrosoli International School

Father Giuseppe Ambrosoli was an Italian man. He was also a doctor and a catholic priest. He lived in northern Uganda. He died in 1987; his friends built a school and named it after him. They wanted Italian people to go there. They also wanted a school with a good learning environment. They built the school two years after he died. Therefore the school started in 1989.

Ambrosoli International School has changed greatly over the years with more buildings, teachers and students. On top of that, they do not teach in Italian any more. They teach in English because the school has people from all over the world.
