Last week we conducted some experiments in Year One, looking at how fragile our brain is and why we need to protect it. We discussed what was around our brain to keep it safe, before wrapping 2 eggs in a variety of materials to simulate the fluid and the skull. The children then took it in turns running with the container (the skull). The eggs remained intact, which surprised the children. We then took out the protective materials and returned the eggs to the containers. Can you guess what happened?
