Thursday morning during our PSHE lesson the children came dressed as who or what they want to become in the future as part of our unit Changing Me. They were asked why they wanted to become their chosen profession and what they would need to do in order to achieve this. 

Salma would like to be a ‘Caretaker’ of horses and zebras. She says that she will need to learn all about grass, so that she can feed the animals. 

Yehonatan would like to be an ‘F14 Jet Pilot’ so that he can travel around the world and save people and places. He noted that he would have to learn how to fly a plane and learn about the different buttons to push and when to push them. 

Alya would like to become a ‘Doctor’ so she can help people that need it most and so she can look after her grandfather. She said that she would need to go to university to be able to become a doctor.

Baptiste would like to be a ‘Painter’ because he likes painting. He said he could paint artwork for people. He said that he would have to continue to practise. 

Tito would like to be a ‘Pilot for a passenger plane’ so that he could visit different countries. He said that he would have to practise his Maths especially his numbers so that he could read the dashboard.

Kai would like to be a ‘Cowboy’ because he likes animals. He noted that he would have to learn how to ride a horse.

Niklas would like to be ‘Spider-man’ so that he could save people from baddies. He said he would have to get bitten by a radioactive spider to become spider-man then he would have to learn how to shoot spiderwebs. 

Leilah would like to become a ‘Ballet Dancer’ so that she could teach people how to dance. She said she would have to learn more dance steps. 

Ruben would like to become a ‘Football Player’ because he likes football and has football shoes. He noted that he would have to get better at running, kicking, shuffling and learning how to work with others on his team.

Anika would like to be a ‘Primary Teacher’ so that she can help children to learn. She said she would have to listen to all her teachers so that she is ready to go to University. 

Carla would like to be a ‘Scientist’ so that she can follow ancient footsteps and find out where they came from. She said she will need to practise writing down notes. 

Lana would like to become an ‘Architect’ so that she could make cities and towns look beautiful. She said that she would have to practise building towers out of blocks and continue drawing. 

Safia would like to become a ‘Vet’ so she can help all the pets in the world. She said a vet needs to be patient and that she needs to learn how to write notes to help the animals get better. 

I am so proud of the children’s creativity and their ability to be unique and individual!
