Sarah Preval – Reception Flame Tree Teacher
My name’s Sarah and I come from the UK. I did a Law degree at Nottingham Trent University in England, then later studied for a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from the University of Southern Queensland in Australia. My teaching experience began in South Korea where I taught English for 1 1/2 years. I originally came to Uganda in 2000 as a volunteer with a disabled group and in January 2006 was lucky enough to be offered a job at Ambrosoli. I’ve taught in Seedlings, Reception and Year 2. When I’m not working I love spending time with my two boys (who are both at Ambrosoli and love it!), reading, watching movies and exploring new places.

I hold a certificate in Montessori Education and a Diploma in Early Years education. It has been a privilege to work with so many children in Ambrosoli watching them grow and graduate through the school. My favorite thing about education is watching children flourish into adulthood and achieve their full potential.
