On Monday we travelled to the European country of Switzerland. The children learnt that Switzerland has many mountains that you can hike in the summer and ski in the winter. They also learnt that the transport in Switzerland is different because of all the mountains. The people in a remote village use one of the steepest cliff railways to access their homes and also many people use cable cars. The children became engineers and designed their own cable car before testing it out on the cables. We finally enjoyed some milk which Switzerland is famous for, along with their chocolate and cheese.
