The children had a fabulous excursion to the Uganda Reptile Village. They had a very knowledgeable guide to take them around and share valuable information. He even went inside several of the exhibits when the children said that they could not see the reptile clearly. They saw several types of tortoises and snakes of various sizes. Some children were fortunate to even give a tortoise a pat! We then moved onto the chameleons. The children were extremely excited and very eager to hold one. As you can see from the photographs many children had a chameleon placed on their head and some did get to hold them in their hand. We then moved onto the viewing the monitor lizards and crocodiles. It was a fantastic morning and an experience that the children will remember for some time.
