Irene Kiwanuka – 2 Kidepo Teacher
Hello, my name is Irene. S. Kiwanuka, I am Ugandan currently teaching in Year 2 Kidepo. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree (English language studies and Linguistics) from Makerere University in Uganda, a Diploma of Early Childhood & Primary Education (Montessori) from the Montessori Teacher Training College Uganda and PGCE from the University of Southern Queensland Australia.
I have been working at Ambrosoli since 2008 and I have enjoyed the very welcoming and wonderful community feel of our school. My international teaching career started way back in 1998 in Kigali – Rwanda.
I am very passionate about teaching children, which I consider to be a very important phase of their development. I derive great satisfaction watching the progressive changes children make through their learning.
Dianne Bergman- Year 2 Bwindi
My name is Dianne, this is my first year at Ambrosoli International School. My nationality is Dutch and currently I am teaching in Year 2 Bwindi. I have worked in Uganda for 3 years previously in KS1. I come from a beautiful town called Rotterdam in The Netherlands.
I am passionate about teaching children, I enjoy guiding them to explore more and build knowledge and skills during there academic year.
My passions outside of school are drawing and swimming.
